SM Chatbot for Zoho CRM - User guide

The SM Chatbot for Zoho CRM is available as an extension in Zoho CRM's marketplace. Once installed, the following components will be added to your CRM:

  • Web Tab: Chatbot

Install:

  1. Log into the Zoho CRM > Setup > Marketplace
  2. Search for SM Chatbot for Zoho CRM from the search bar
  3. Click Install
  4. Read the terms and conditions, and privacy policy and select the checkbox
  5. Click Install
  6. Choose one of the following:
    1. Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for users with administrator profiles.
    2. Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
    3. Choose profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, then select the desired profiles.
  7. Click Confirm
  8. Navigate to the new tab Chatbot

Configure:

Chatbot configuration

  1. Log into the Solution Mentors Portal
  2. Navigate to the Chatbot page
  3. Configure chatbot
    1. enter your title
    2. enter your welcome message
    3. select your brand color
    4. set your brand logo
  4. Click Save to apply your changes
  5. Click Copy Embed Code to add your chatbot to your website

Configure task automation:

  1. Log into the Solution Mentors Portal > Integrations
  2. Find Zoho CRM and click Connect
  3. Navigate to the Chatbot page
  4. Click the customization request to:
    1. send URLs to your knowledge base
    2. define your automation tasks
    3. define starter prompts

Uninstall:

To uninstall the SM Chatbot for Zoho CRM extension from your Zoho CRM account, follow the instructions:

  1. Go to Settings > Marketplace > All
  2. Go to the Installed tab and select Uninstall next to SM Chatbot for Zoho CRM
  3. Click Ok from the popup
  4. Go to Solution Mentors Portal > Integrations
  5. Find Zoho CRM and click Disconnect in the dropdown list
